We went to a food show for one of the vendors we use at the restaurant. The theme (for whatever reason) was Back to the Future, and they had the Delorian there. Oh yes, the Delorian.

of course we only had iphone for pictures, but the owner was there and was letting people climb around in it and take pictures. fun!

Here are two quick photos from the entry way. Pretty amazing that about 90% of the stuff there was premade. I dont want to look down on the way other people run their business, but seriously? We listened in on tons of people chatting with their representatives about all the stuff they order.. why run a restaurant if you are just reheating/deep frying everything? Everyone was baffled when we would explain we (by "we" of course I mean "dave & chefs") make our own pasta/soups/sauces/desserts from scratch.

There was some nice produce, seafood and meats we were interested in, though!

oh yeah, and clearly the most important part of the day--dave answered some Back to the Future trivia and won a turn in the Money Machine (the box you stand in and money flies around and you grab it)
