We all know Charlie was a difficult baby, and when his attitude started to improve I tried to just take him as he was each day, and not hold on to the bad feelings (trauma!) of trying to parent the baby he had been.
Well, we had good days and bad days.. .then more good days than bad days.... and now, officially, I'm ready to say it.
I have a HAPPY baby. When he's awake, 90% of the time, this kid is loving life. My baby has a beautiful enormous smile, and he loves his mama, his big sister, and he "talks" about da-da-da-da all day long.
It's been a long time coming, but we are really ENJOYING this baby.
