Baby pool party!
We had a group of mamas and papas with babies around Charlies age come over for an end of summer pool party. It was super cute to have 6 squirmy babies and 2 big kids splashing around. I loved that all the dads came, so many playgroups are just the mamas, it was nice to see the daddies interact with their kidlets.
after the sun went behind the trees it got cold so all the babies had a wardrobe change and headed into the playroom for some fun(so glad i tidied up before they came over, it is always such a mess in there!)
Charlie and his little friends are at such a fun age, where they play near each other, watch each other, maybe even play with the same toy, but dont really play together yet. its fun to see, since charlie really engages and plays WITH lily (tag, peek a boo, hide and seek, rolling a ball, etc)
so fun. lily asked if we can have a big kid pool party too, so i'll have to see if there is a day available for that.
love having a pool! and babies! and making friends with people with babies!
We are STILL not done talking about how much fun we had on Sunday. Thank you so much for hosting. We are grateful to have new friends with babies, too. :) Fun.
