Lily was interested in learning about where plants come from, so with snow still on the ground, we bought some little trays of dirt and picked out some vegetable seeds to get started indoors. Little did I know Lily would be obsessed. That girl watered the plants 320873535 times a day. She squealed in delight every morning running to check if they had grown. So imagine the day that those little green wisps started showing. And the day when the plants moved outside to their own vegetable bed. She could hardly contain her excitement!
April
May (the only pictures i have of them as indoor seedlings were taken by Lily)
May
June, on planting day
Yesterday, tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, carrots, summer squash, zucchini, eggplant and pumpkins, growing strong! (everything up to that big peony plant is just tomato, it continues way down into that shadowy area)

Wow, that's so great! What a wonderful (and fun) hands-on learning experience!
