When lily was born, I started going to a group for mamas with new babies. it was great to have a safe space to go, ask questions, get sympathy, encouragement etc. Heck, it was good to have practice packing up and getting out of the house with a new baby!
Lots of the moms were on maternity leave so we got together at each others houses occasionally outside the group. It was so fun and was such a great connection at a time where i needed friendship and support.

What a difference! 3.5 years later, not babies anymore, we've got a couch full of KIDS.
