Hi everyone! Happy march!
its been an exciting few weeks around here!
anyone who watches the news knows what has been going on in Madison, as a battle for workers rights and the democratic process wages into week three. I've been reading and learning a lot. We have been concerned as most of our friends will be effected negatively by this bill, and certainly our kids education will suffer. Mostly we are concerned at the gross abuse of power and disregard of our state constitution.
also, we had our 3rd Annual Mad City Mardi Gras to benefit Vilas Zoo at Lilianas. Its always such an exciting and joyful day, but its a lot of work! Parry brought his camera and beautifully captured the day in pictures that are online in his fototime account .
I'll post my favorite pics of the kids here, but check out Parry's fototime account because there were stilt walkers, face painters, balloon artists, magicians, henry the lion, a silent auction, friends, family and yummy yummy food. The final total isnt ready yet (people, pick up your auction items!) but its going to be over $4000! Fabulouso!
