On vacation! We checked in to our hotel and then packed up to explore the town for a little while before it got cold/dark.

Luckily, after we returned from town the indoor waterpark at our hotel was still open.
Lily LOVES water! We went to the same resort when she was about one and she liked it alright, but this time around she was so independent and brave and curious and just had way too much fun.
Surprisingly, Charlie liked it as well. Since it's an indoor park, it's loud (lots of water splashing and gushing and kids screaming and what sounds like jet engines starting up every few minutes) but he didn't seem put off by it at all. Hooray!
He was kicking around and splashing and laughing so much I forgot for a minute that really, he's just a baby and all of a sudden, without much of a fuss, very clearly needed to get out, get warm, and snuggle his mama.
(these photos are super dark because i had to go find somewhere calm and snuggly for him. he just wanted to be hugged for about 25 minutes, cute baby)
